NEWS CENTER - Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu arrested. 

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office detained 92 people, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, on 19 March within the scope of investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. 92 people, includin Mayor Imamoglu, were reffered to the criminal court of peace with the demand for arrest. Imamogly, Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan completed their testimonies to the judge. At 09.00 local time, the verdict started to be announced.
