4 April Festival continues on 2nd day

RIHA - The 4 April Festival, organised in Xelfetî on the occasion of the 76th birthday of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, continues on its second day.

In Xelfetî (Halfeti) district of Riha (Urfa), a festival is being organised with the slogan "To Democratic Society with Free Leader" on the 76th birthday of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. On the first day of the 4 April Festival, which started yesterday at the 4 April Park, speeches, torchlight marches and music concerts were held.
 
The festival started in the morning on the second day. The crowd, mostly young people and women, started to come to the festival area in the early hours. As part of today's programme, the Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) will lead a march to Amara neighbourhood where Abdullah Öcalan was born.
 
The march is planned to start at 13.00.
