AMED - A group including representatives of civil society organisations, intellectuals and writers set out from Amed (Diyarbakır) to watch the ceremony to be held by the PKK in Sulaymaniyah.
The PKK will organise an arms laying down ceremony in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Federated Kurdistan Region tomorrow upon the call of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
A group including representatives of civil society organisations, intellectuals, writers and journalists gathered in Amed to watch the ceremony and set off for Sulaymaniyah.
The delegation of about 150 people gathered in front of Amed Stadium in Peyas (Kayapınar) district and set off for the ceremony to be held in Sulaymaniyah tomorrow.
Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chairs Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Women's Assembly Spokesperson Halide Türkoğlu, Democratic Alevi Associations (DAD) Co-Chair Zeynel Kete, Lawyers for freedom (OHD) Co-Chair Ekin Yeter and names from MED TUHAD-FED also took part in the group.
